10 Sacred Practices

We recommend every member of our community follow these ten steps
as an At-One-Ment with the Supreme Being.

1.     Count our blessings all day and all night, so that during sleep, the gratitude goes on while the body is resting.  Through constant practice while awake, this habit will continue during sleep also. This is the main way we pray and do our mantra. It helps make the mind one-pointed enough to develop Merciful Understanding.

2.     Bless everything we gaze upon, people, places and things, all creatures great and small “The Lord God made them all.”  This is a great practice to reach the state of Unconditional Love.  There are 108 chakras in each eye.  This practice will eventually pierce these chakras allowing the petals to unfold in full bloom.

3.     Allow our feet to nurture, nourish and heal with every footstep we take, thereby allowing our feet to become a place of Holy Pilgrimage.  Eventually, every footstep becomes a Prayer.

4.     Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, know that our hands are bliss-bestowing hands, capable of bestowing blessings and Grace always upon ourselves and all of God’s creation.

5.     Offer our kneecaps to the Lord and remember that throughout this lifetime, every moment is a moment of communion with the God of our heart, on our knees, no matter what we are doing. This is a very good exercise to develop humility that leads to Surrender, Love and Devotion.

6.     Focus on our heart and know that it is as big as the cosmos in its nobleness, generosity and lovingkindness.

7.     Feel the connection of your throat to your heart and allow every word you speak to come from the core of your heart.  It will take 108 days speaking this way and you will notice that you have enhanced your Self-expression.

8.     Feel the top of your head open up to the Never Ending Waterfall of God’s Love cascading down to your feet, filling up your entire body, non-stop all day and all night, the water leaving your feet to join the Earth.  Know that your “cup runneth over”.  Face each day knowing that since you increased your capacity to receive, your capacity to give is thereby increased tremendously also.

9.     Every time you inhale, know that you are taking in Prana (life force) from the Source which is God, Himself.  When you exhale, you give back that Prana to the Source, so that the Source can transmute the Prana to its original pure and taintless nature.  Silently say to yourself as you inhale, “The Lord gives it”; then as you exhale silently say to yourself, “The Lord takes it away”. This way we are forever reminded that while it is true that nothing moves without His Divine Will, it is equally true that the Lord wants us to interact with Him.

10. Become aware that at the center of the physical heart, a bright blue flame as big as our right thumb burns with a fire that does not burn.  This windless flame is the Light of the Lord, God Himself.  Verily, “the kingdom of God lies within”.  The Masters of the East also say, “The body is the Temple of God.  So kneel to yourself - bow down to yourself, honor yourself, for God lives within you as you.”  Amen, AUM.

In sacred geometry the number ten denotes change for the better.
